The day is a special and poignant way for people to unite together as they remember loved ones lost and to honour those people in our community who have been diagnosed with dementia.
We are delighted to announce that this event had over 400 participants take part and raised an incredible $54,688.73 for people living with dementia in Western Australia, bringing the total raised at these events to $75,396.11.
Alzheimers Australia is Australia’s oldest and largest dementia organisation, Alzheimer’s Australia WA is at the forefront of dementia care services, with world-class research, risk reduction and education and training programs designed to meet the challenge of what has been described by Access Economics as “a national dementia epidemic”.
Their purpose is to advance the interests of people living with dementia through advocacy, education, support and research.
